Hello there!
This is the new 18 year old speaking.
(that's right I am legal...)
So as I previously said I would post about my Birthday away from home:
It was fabulous.
We had an amazing performance and once I got back to the bus I found 31 text messages waiting from my friends at home. (Thanks everyone it really made me feel loved :] )
The rest of the day I spent with my friends and we had a blast: letting the music dance and celebrating, being "angels" across campus, being so close with Shakespeare, trying Tea... cakes, and "mixing."
It was wonderful.
Not to mention on this Shakespearean note we won 1st in Madrigals for Chamber Choir and all of our groups combined scores took 1st at Sweepstakes
However, one of my favorite things about my Birthday time of year is General Conference.
And this Conference weekend was one of the best yet.
Going into the first session with many friends my age was already a very new, wonderful thing to do.
But when President Monson announced the new age option for Missionaries my heart has never been more full. The truth and the power I felt there with my close friends was one I will never forget.
Heavenly Father does answer prayers in different ways, I'm not sure where my life will take me, but with the stress that has been running through my mind over college and then hearing the announcement yesterday the stress was gone. The Lord has a plan for everyone, I have yet to discover what His plan is for me but I am so excited to find out what it is.
So with that wonderful announcements let's talk quotes from all the sessions! (Wahoo!!!)
