life's a happy song

this is the theme song of my life at this moment:
maybe not this arrangement... more like the one I sang last year in Adv. Women's Choir...
Anyway. Not the point.
The point is that I feel at the top of the world right now and that everything is just grand,
so PLEASE don't bring me down in any way.

"Why is Katy in such a great mood?" (you might ask)
Let me tell ya'!

First off:
School's almost over! I have been craving some summer since Choir Tour ended.

However, this school year has been an amazing one:

I have made some unforgettable, remarkable, friends that have been blessings in my life and I am beyond grateful to have met them.

I love them all dearly.

I got to be part of the school musical this year which was an amazing opportunity.

and I even got pretty decent grades.

So all in all it will be sad saying goodbye to this year but I'm ready to be a senior.

2nd:

I am done with finals!!!!!
WAHOOO!!!!!
Let me tell you when you only have one real final it is a real stress to pass that test.
So now I just have to hope it comes back nice and "A" like.

3rd:

I'm on DECA Leadership next year!
Public Relations Rep. Ahhh yeeaaah.
Pretty much my job is to tell the best people I know to join DECA because it's awesome and as my dear friend Aaron knows that is my favorite thing to do.
Plus, why wouldn't you want to be on DECA?

Do you see how cool these kids are?
4th:
I have some of the greatest classes.
Like Seminary.

These people have become some of my closest friends this past semester.
I mean, what other class could you laugh for 30 minutes straight in?
But seriously, they are some of the most wonderful kids I know and our teacher Brother Fossum will be missed greatly.

Last but certainly not least:
Yesterday was the last choir concert of the year.

That's not really the great happy part,
I will miss the graduating choir kids the most out of anyone I know.

The happy part is what happened in the end.
I get the wonderful opportunity to serve as PGHS Choir President for 2012-2013!
And the best part of that is that I get to do it with a huge group of my closest friends (:
I am grateful to this girl...
(Lauren Miner)
...for setting the example of being a wonderful president this year, she is truly remarkable.

This year has been the best year yet,
which is good, because as my wise Student Council Adviser Mr. Beck says:
"Each year should be better than the last. If it's not, you're an idiot"

I feel as like I'm floating,
so PLEASE,
"Don't Rain on My Parade"
